I am a Sci-fi and memoir writer. My full time job is a management and leadership trainer. I used to work in the film and TV entertainment industry in Hollywood, California. Most of my writing inspiration come from the movies and TV series.
Chuck Chan received his bachelor’s degree in Business Management from California State University, Los Angeles and went on to receive his master’s degree in cross cultural studies. He has been working as an educational consultant and leadership dynamic trainer for the past 30 years.
Being a management & leadership trainer, a Sci-fi and memoir writer, I’ve traveled throughout Asia Pacific regions including China, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, N. America and Australia.

As a leadership trainer and writer, Chuck has traveled throughout the Asia Pacific region — including China, Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia — as well as North America and Australia.
The Heart Runners
Most of Chuck’s ideas come from films and TV series — filtered through everything he’s learned about leadership under pressure. The result is a sci-fi thriller about the day artificial intelligence stops asking permission, and the handful of engineers left standing between a heartbeat and a shutdown command.
